Dr. Janet Franklin
Dr. Franklin is currently Professor and Associate Chair of the Department of Biology Adjunct Professor of Geography at San Diego State University. She will be in residence at ASU effective Fall 2009.
Her research interests include
- Landscape ecology
- Plant ecology
- Biogeography
- Biophysical remote sensing
- Digital terrain analysis

Dr. Alan Murray
Dr. Murray is currently Director of the Center for Urban and Regional Analysis and Professor of Geography at The Ohio State University. He will be in residence at ASU effective Fall 2008.
His research interests include:
- Geographic information science
- Urban, regional and natural resource planning
- Applications of quantitative methods
- Location modeling
- Spatial decision support systems
