We'll explore a series of water holes in a narrow granite gorge. The first is only a quarter-mile from the road; as we go further upstream, we'll encounter waterfalls and narrower, deeper pools.
Trailhead is about 10 miles past Payson.
Ride up in an ASU van, or carpool in private vehicles.
Bring water, a sack lunch, hat, sunblock, lip block, extra shirt, water shoes or watersport sandals, and towel. Wear a bathing suit.
To participate, contact Mike Kuby or sign up in the School of Geographical Sciences office, SCOB 330.
